DESCRIPTION

Named after Dr. J.B. Harrington at the University of Saskatchewan, this iconic 2-row barley was considered the international “Gold Standard” in malting barley from the early 1980’s until the early 2000’s when major producers switched to it’s descendants. Despite the switch, Harrington remains a brewmasters favorite for its flavor, high enzymes, good color and extract yield.
